Abstract

The article is an analytical review of research devoted to the problems of assessing the traditional worldview of the Khakassians. It examines the main concepts, methods and concepts that have been used in the study of the cultural, including spiritual, heritage of the indigenous population of the Yenisei Region during its development since the 17th century. It is emphasized that since the establishment of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center and its humanitarian division, much attention has been paid to the genesis of the worldview systems of the ancient and modern peoples of Siberia (archaic and traditional beliefs). A comprehensive integrative approach based on the analysis of a wide range of sources and variable methods determined the content of research in this area. The systematic description of the traditional ideas of the Khakas about nature and human, which makes it possible to reconstruct the ethnic picture of the world as fully as possible, remains relevant to the present day and defines the research perspective at the fundamental and scientific-practical level.
